new race suit.

Hey all, been a while. But currently been nursing the brother back to health after his motorbike accident. good news he's alive, he came off worse than the bike. 5 broken ribs, punctured lung. Partially amputated ring finger left hand (half) middle finger smashed into 10 pieces and a skinned first finger. Luckily wearing all his gear which helped a lot. bike was written off, as a repairable wright off. Looks like for now he's saying he'll never get back on. But who knows in a few months/ years everything can change anyway. Just wondering now. Does anyone have a full one piece leather suit. If so what do you have? Does it fit well? Price? level of protection and perceived protection with one. What about split suits, pro's cons. As im getting into the track days I need to start getting serious about the protection. Bikes looking at are either the rental bikes from the school gsxr600's or either a repairable gsxr750, buy a gsxr600 or rs250. The 4 strokes need to be post 2004, If i rent it comes out to the same as me buying it on credit and paying it off over a year. I pay interest but at least i come out with a bike rather than a bill.

You're in Australia. You could chase down a kangaroo and skin it. Supposed to be good stuff.

I agree with Dave, good of you to help your brother out.

Personally I like one piece leathers for the track.
