Classified Suggestion

This is just a thought...

Can we have a way to sort classified by sold or not? I know there are some old ads out there that never sold and thought it would be nice to have a sub forum called sold or something...or maybe just have an Admin mark the title as **SOLD**

I try to mark **SOLD** on many of the ads. A big help would be for the member to PM one of the admins/mods. when the item is sold.

I think it's good to mark stuff sold, shows that the forum gets things sold.

I can add prefixes which you can change to "SOLD" but the problem is you cant do it after the thread has been up longer than 30 days.

Are people posting in the thread "SOLD" as the last post when they sell their stuff?

saw this on another forum....

They have a separate section called "Stuff you missed out on" When something is sold, it is moved to that sub-forum. Periodically, they ask their members to go through all the classified ads and mark it as good or sold.

Why can't we have edit abilities? Most forums allow members to edit there posts without a time limit? This takes the responsibility off the admin/mods to clean up the for sale section and the user can mark the item as sold, remove pictures and links?
