Submit your own banner pics

By now you've probably noticed the new banner pic. If you would like a pic of you and/or your bike in the header then submit it in this thread. Make sure it's something motorcycle related, and check below for specifics on what type of pic we need. We will use these to update the header picture at the top and rotate the pic on a regular basis.

1260x150 pixels is the size we need. They don't have to be panorama photos, they just need to be fairly large digital photos with the subject of the photo (bike, rider, road, etc) far enough away in the distance of the photo that we can crop it into a panorama. If you need help cropping a photo let us know and we can help you with that part.

Below are some examples of the type pic that would look best after being cropped for the header:

Original:
moto2.jpg

Example of area to be cropped:
moto1.jpg

Photos in the size we need:
moto3.jpg

Here is another example:

Original:
iStock_000013254748Large%201.jpg

Photos in the size we need:
iStock_000013254748Large%202.jpg

Note: The logo would be on the left side taking up some of the space there.

Submit your pictures in this thread and we'll take care of the rest.

Andy had mentioned they needed to be 150, but when he put that one up as an example it's 160. He may have found it fit better. I'll let him chime in on that part, but it looks like you've got it covered either way.

Nice pics BTW. Keep them coming. I don't know how often we're going to rotate them, but it would be nice to have a stockpile to work from.

Very nice touch, fellas.

I've got some to add to the list, not quite as cool as nd4spdbh's current selection, but hey... they fit the bill I guess.

I've got 3 so far from Labor Day, 2010.
Subjects include members such as me & my wife, The Shadow, & justintyme73.

I also put together a 919 header from some images I found on the net + a pic I had of my seat right after washing my bike.

I'm partial to the 2nd & 3rd myself.

I've got a few other really good pics I'm dyin' to make into headers, but they just don't fit the dimensions.

Some pics I grabbed from the photo thread, and some I found of sketches that give it a pretty sweet look.

I can remove the font with the wt.com so you can put the logo there, but I didn't have the logo file. If an admin can PM me that file, I can put those on there too.
