Forum changes later this week

Just a heads up, we are getting a make over later this week with some new colors. You may remember we had a short trial of this a few months ago.

Here's a sneak peek at the new brighter colors. There will also be some nice new interactive tabs at the top to help navigation and a new logo (which is still being designed). Stay tuned..

How about a button that allows you to see all replies to threads you have posted in?

honda red would look sexy. Seeing as this forum is mostly 919 ppl, why not a 919 color? You dont see too many in orange.

Honda red for sure, and perhaps a bike of the month contest and the winner gets the top banner for a month. That way it stays fresh.

If WT is thinking of a bright color, please give us the option to change it back to the brown I have now. I don't know if I can take a screaming screen after work...

We will be changing the header images over time when we find great shots to use. When that happens we will be switching colors to keep everything matching.

I like it the way it is and don't remember any trial. You can't please everyone but I would have thought the users would at least be polled on color preferences.

I don't know for sure, but I've been changing colors since this past winter! And decided Honda red was my favorite.

Okay the new look and layout is cool except for the damn orange. KTM or HD Orange or what ever it is, it has to go. I know we get to just post on this form and use it for talking to the community but maybe in the future a vote should be done instead of being told this is how it is. I changed mine to Honda Red but you go back to the old style layout.

+1 on color. More basic = better for me.

HD comes to mind first, KTM 2nd.

I don't get the new logo. Is it a shield with WT on it? What does that have to do with motorcycles? A throttle grip with the logo on it at least makes some sense.

I'm not usually one to complain about forum layout changes, because, eh wtf. But this just seems like change for change sake, which is pointless, especially since the old layout was fine. The orange is gawdawful, so i set mine to black. It doesn't assault my eyes.

That orange is Retina damaging. Glad someone pointed out the color change bar at the bottom. I do like the new logo, however.

That new orange is BRIGHT! But who cares, if you dont like it you have the option of the old forum and a bunch of others. I'm gonna try it out for awhile and see if I get used to it. The new one does have a very modern feel to it, but that logo looks anti-virus software. Thanks mods for leaving the option to change to scheme on a user basis

Huh? I didn't even notice. For some reason, I must have set my theme choice to "Ducati Black" I'm giving "WristTwisters v2.0" a shot -- It's a bit livelier that what I used to see.

It appears the original post date is back, but only on the home page? I don't see it when I'm on the new post page.

The best feature is clicking on a Recent Topic tab and going to the first unread. It always went to the original post for me before.
