i'm in the process of ordering rc51 front end parts but i want to know if i can get a 954rr wheel to keep the 3 spoke theme. will the rc51 calipers work with the 954rr rotors and is the axle the same? any knowledge is appreciated thanks.

i honestly have no clue... but theres always conversion brackets and or spaces you can get to fit different calipers on different rotors.... and same goes for axles... different bearings n whatnot.

Yes.......No.........No.........Yes you can use a 3 spoke 929/954 wheel but you have to use RC51 rotors, axles, bearings, spacers and seals.

what're your plans for the triple?

also 929 rotors are 330mm and rc51 are 320mm. I believe their bolt pattern is different too, 75% sure. If you go with 929 rim/rotors, you will have to come up with custom caliper bracket

Bolt circle is the same on the rotors, I have RC51 rotors bolted to the 929 wheel I have sitting in my garage.
As for triples try Emig Racing ( http://www.emigracing.com/ ) They do one off/custom work. RC51's are 214mm fork tube center to fork tube center, lower clamping surface is 54mm and upper is 50mm and the offset for the 9er is 50mm.

Haven't done any business with them personally, I've seen soe of the stuff they do for the KTM's, works of art.
Someday when I'm rich instead of good looking I'll finish the 919/RC51 front end I started several years ago.
