Getting down to where victories are measured in small gains. Got sprocket on and chain tightened. Installed clutch master cylinder, sprocket cover and ran line. Going to go over wiring harness tonight at work. Since this is drag only bike, only wires I'm leaving in harness are what's absolutely necessary for it to run.

Going dragracing with FI and megasquirt meens just doing TPS vs RPM so no need for an airbox -single pods would do the business
using a broadband lambda sensor from LM-1 would give you total control of mixture.

If I could (or would) buy my late FJ back from insurance I'll go dragracing with it - as I can tweek this with the laptop and myself.
and as Im not a mechanich (dont read my other thread )
Carbs and engine internals is not my ballgame

I'll get back to you when I "need to implant the barrels of the 1100 in my 919

much more control than carbs and most of the stuff is available as its was FI on newer models

I started as a complete newbie and gained from 102-130 rwHP abd 89-112Nm in torque and a Lunatic Roll-On action from tickover - doing it on an aircooled FJ1200 - with absolutely NO bolton parts

just my idea of going another (expensive) set of Carbs

I finished wiring Saturday. Just for the hell of it I thought I'd quick-wire the stock ecu up and see if it had spark. To my surprise (ecu box is busted), had nice fat blue spark at the plug. I did a quick cleaning on stock carbs and stuck them on, she fired right up! It ran like crap (probably have a couple of fouled plugs) but ran nonetheless. Didn't smoke, had good oil pressure and didn't make any strange noises so I was stoked! Now just waiting on income tax check so I can order new FCR's and Dyna2000 ignition and it'll be ready to run.

Carbs showed up Friday. Went through them and did a baseline tuneup based on what I thought it was going to need (good thing too cause they were set up by a crazy person...needle clip in 5th position, wtf?). Anyways, got bike up and running. Went to track yesterday....DAYUM what a difference!!! The power/torque down low was unbelievable! It's gonna take me a while to get used to a hydraulic clutch again. I put my buddy on it and on his first pass on it he laid down a 6.18 @111 mph! Mph is low for that ET so I have some tuning to do. Here is a vid of the run. Bike in other lane is stretched Busa. My 9 walked away from it like he was dragging an anchor

Here are a few pics. Swap turned out really well. Unless you're a die hard Honda man, you'd never know what was lurking between the frame rails.

What do you hope to ET when you have it dialed in?

Since my last post I've run several 6.14s at 114 mph in 1/8th. Had best 60 ft yet (1.488) but clutches started slipping and that's where I'm at now. Waiting til I can put a lockup in it before replacing them. Bike should easily run some 6.0s when I get clutch back in it.
