Sometimes flushing your blinker fluid helps for smoother operation overall.

Don't forget to lube up your muffler bearings, and top off your 710 fluid as well.....

Not to hijack the thread......but is this the header one have to use when macking the "conversion" to a single exhuast low mount :

Auspuffkrümmer Honda CBR 900 RR SC 33

and another way - full system

Yes, that does look like the correct year stock 900rr header that has been used in conversions. Seems overpriced, but I did not do the currency conversion.

The Barracuda system is interesting, without trying it, we'll never know.

I should be getting my stainless 900RR header for my conversion any day now...I paid $75 for mine. I thought it was a good deal. I'll post up pics soon.

Sorry to revive this thread after two months.... haha

Where did you get your 900rr header for so cheap? Cheapest I've found is $175 off of eBay.. =/

...just bought some headers

I love the look of Marylandmike's setup, only I love the cf look (currently have CF Sato's).

I just bought some 900rr headers on ebay (year was '97, so dunno if they are stainless or not) so I'll be posting some pics up in a bit. I hope to do some videos of the whole process (y-pipe removal especially) to help some others out who attempt this.

I'm excited to get going on this!

Thanks g00g. If you like the can I used they also make a CF version. Its a little more pricey by about $150 but looks great.

i just changed my clutch fluid yesterday shifts a lot better .especially with the new chain and sprockets.17/43. the gold chain and chrome sprocket set, brother i am pimpin now.

The gold chain adds 2hp, often over looked!

Seroiusly though I went to a 45 out back and I'm lovin it! The 9er makes good torque and the little extra gear woke the ol girl up a little, not over board just a little.
