Chugging...

Coming home from class this morning I ran my bike pretty hard in a straight away (100ish) in 6th gear. As I was decelerating the bike started chugging/lurching 65-85mph range. I was not on the brakes or the gas just letting it coast down. I tried to recreate the problem again but no luck. Anybody have any ideas? Like I said I wasnt on the gas so it wasnt a throttle control issue and I wasnt on the brakes so it wasnt a braking issue. I just did the 16k mile service, (checked valves cleaned air filter, changed oil and all that good stuff). Could it be a bad tank of gas? Because the bike just doesnt feel "right"

Thats actually what I was thinking. Its has a little bit of play in it. I will stop by the shop this week and have them tighten it.
