What happened to veloce gear?

Aquila-RC51 hasn't been active in almost a year, the web page leads to a go-daddy parking page (WEAK!) and here I am ready to purchase a custom 1-piece suit

Yeah it's a shame....it was Michaels dream to make it work and he came up with some quality products at excellent prices.

I still wear the gloves I bought from him during the first group buy many moons ago. I think they were the legionnaires. I crash tested them too and they held up great and no doubt saved me some skin. Shame he couldn't keep it going.

Back when I had my SV650 and was active on SVRider.com, a guy there started doing custom leathers. Got good reviews on that board. Looked for him, and he's still active. Reasonably priced. Custom-fitted suits starting at $700. Here's a link:

Christmass is near and I thought I'd get some gloves for my brother. The Veloce gloves are my favorite so I have recently thought about Michael also.

Nuts... I was going to talk to Aquila about a suit. Part of the reason i found my way back to WT after a hiatus. I'm still lovin my Legionaire gloves. Lots of miles on them, and they are holding up great.

I still sear the group-buy gloves and like 'em.

The boot buy turned sour on him... as I recall, his supplier made his boot design available to other buyers. One of those other buyers bought ALL of their production, leaving Veloce (and us) swinging in the breeze.

I recently lost the gloves, left em on the trunk of the car the other day. The wife never saw them and off to work she went. Some homeless dude is probably wearing them now.

Michael had sent me and a couple other members a pair of the boots to test out before the final production run. They were ok but not as well made as the gloves. I loved my gloves dammit!
