the "seth" mod

Named in honor of my buddy seth who rides a bandit 1200 for coming up with this mod. I had previously removed the high idle knob because i never used it. Seth has always given me chyt for the horn on the 919 being an eye sore. Last night at a local bike night he came up with the idea to mount horn where the high idle knob was. Well it couldn't have worked any better. I didn't even have to lengthen the wires. Just simple run the wires under the back bone and in between the 1 and 2 cylinder throttle bodies. I also noticed that the hanger the horn mounts to was cracked so i removed it all together.

Looks good, but I think the extra heat will take your horn out.

interesting position.... it was front facing for a reason so people in front of you that you were likely honking at could hear you.

lots of ppl take the stock horn and rotate it 90 degrees inward, no modding needed.

The horn is only to keep me street legal. My exhaust does a much better job of getting someones attention.

I hate the horn's stock location on the 919. It belongs under the headlight facing forward just as it is on every other CB on earth. Why they have it hanging down like one stray testicle I don't know.

Hey now, don't be bringing up the balls thread again... . We'll have people fighting over whose horn is bigger, if we get to show it in public, whether we'll get pulled over if we're over 65, yada yada yada.

Can't we all just get along?
