Oxford Heated Grip Help!

HI Guys,

Just wondering how you tap power for heated grips. I connected white(+) cable to my low beam and (-) to battery. Head lights and signal lights will deem every other second when heated grip is on low setting. I don't think this is good for the bike's electrical so I currently run it off battery but I forget to turn it off a few times and leave myself a dead battery sometimes. Any better idea is appreciated.

I installed a secondary fuse block that is only powered when the bike is running. I used the universal one:

EC - Power Plate

Hi RMB,

Thank you for the quick reply. I understand the concept now but for the EC plate, if I attach the red to main, where do I plug the gound to to make it shut off when the engine is off?
