lowering pegs? modification for bad knee

a few months ago i got into a bad wakeboarding accident, ive had 3 major knee surgeries and its taking a long time to get the use of it back, im still on crutches, and sitting in a CPM machine as i type. either way, my knee doesnt bend far enough to get it on the peg (right leg) what are my options? should i lower the peg, raise the seat? just looking for some ideas. i've been bungee cording my leg up t the frame every couple weeks and putting a few miles on it to keep it running and not just sitting. but i need to find a better solution. any ideas?

If you buy any of the aftermarket pegs that come as two pieces (peg and adapter), you could have any decent machinist make an adapter that would lower the peg.
