bike rack for delivery job

i have an interview with a local pizza place, as a delivery driver. i have seen people on bike delivering food before. and i was going to get a rear sport rack to tie the pizza too. but i need to know of the best one to use, and quite possibly if someone on here has one that they arent using and i can get for really cheap *im inbetween jobs so im on the broke side at the moment*

they're all expensive, and wont fit your need exactly so you'll have to use one as a platform to modify until it suits what you need.

the most likely options so far are ventura and alu-rack. check them out.

On the bike it should be 10 minute delivery or its free. Sorry if the toppings are all on one side of the pizza.

If you do a couple stoppies before delivery destination them toppings may find their way back to close to original location.

If you have stock exhaust the pizzas will stink when you get there.

My bike came with a Renntec rear rack that I don't really use, but I would have no idea what to ask for it...

No, honestly is it worth anything? I know they're $150ish new, but, like anything else used, I know it's probably not worth more than half that, right?

Ya never know - take some pics and post it up in the classifieds. Put a price on it, if it doesn't sell, lower the price or pull it.

You'd be surprised what people are looking for.

i know how to ride in my city! i run this bitch. im not a pussy when it comes to riding. you have to know the routes to skip the ghetto *aka bad side streets*

but yea it would be hard to keep the pizzas in good shape. thats why i have to be cautious. i mean i would be cool to do it for awhile and if it doesnt work out i find something else.

yea that is a good point. oh well i wouldnt bring that up to them unless people complained. they give us bags to put the food in if i get the job. and i wouldnt have it dangling off the end of the bike getting fumed on. it would be more on the seat. so it would be like my passenger.

The bag will stink, but pizza should be fine.

i would be spending my entire paycheque on speeding tickets if I was a bike messenger/pizza boy on a 919.

I think the chances of delivering a pizza with some extra sausage to a hot lonely coed would go up if you used the bike though

Pizza hut here does thier deliveries on bikes. Smaller 150 cc commuter bikes with fabbed-up racks to hold the hot bags/hot boxes. Pizzas seem to arrive ok.

I saw lots of guys in Haiti moving multiple backs of concrete on their little 125cc machines.

in one case a guy dragging a bundle of 40' rebar down the highway behind his bike
