Yep, I know a little about them, but I believe they are the Triumph dealer in Norfolk, so HondaF4i and Simpson should know a good bit about them.

I had them do a patch plug on my rear tire a few weeks ago. Seemed like good guys. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them.

Oh, it is also Norfolk, but most people pronounce it norfork or norfuk. Norfolk State University cheerleaders got in trouble once for doing a little cheer....

"We don't smoke, we don't drink, Nor-folk, Nor-folk" using the norfuk pronunciation,

Thanks, will do. They do have something I want. Saw it on Craigslist and wondering if they'll take a trade. I need to turbo something big this winter! Just some stupid thoughts going through my head!

It will also give me an excuse for a semi-long ride to trade and pick-up something new.

I will let you know.... if you are looking at the Rocket Tourer, I can give you tons of input. My dad had one. If you are looking at the 675.... the bike is just awesome. If you are looking at the Tiger, I hate you.

Love me.

Already have the uber-ADV bike of all. The 675 is not of interest ... no track days in my near future. At least with 2-wheels.

Looking big. Was thinking a nice used Valkrye Interstate, but all have too many miles. So the Rocket is a nice option. The turbo makes it so much more fun.

What does he think about his Rocket Tourer? What does he Not Like about it?
I bet it hammers the pavement with that torque. I have a video of a dude riding a wheelie (lofting a mono) the partial length of a runway in England on a Rocket III. A Damned Impressive Machine

Dad's impressions.... His favorite bike ever. His only complaints so far are regarding storage. There is a not a good aftermarket top box and not quite enough room in the panniers for a long trip. He is currently emailing wiht a company reagarding a hitch for a trailer.

In general, the Rocket Tourer has less power than the Rocket III. It is still very quick, but not the same. The Tourer is smooth, while the Regular Rocket is abrupt. If you want a cruiser, IMO this should be considered. It is extremely smooth and comfortable. There is minimal vibrations of any kind and just fun to ride. Running boards make it all the more comfy as well (something I really did not expect to this level).

The local dealer has one left on the showroom floor. Solid black. It is the one Dave was inquiring about here. Only $250 above dealer cost.

Just needs the turbo option to almost be a perfect bike!
