Here's the list :
1 Muck the stalls
2 cut wood
3 Set some tiles
4 Change mower deck to snow blower
5 Laundry
6 Wash the truck
7 Clean dog run
8 Move hay / feed into barn
9 Clean gutters

Couldn't make up my mind. It was high 50's and sunny ....in NOVEMBER...in NEW YORK......$crew it all...............Went for a RIDE !! I knew you guys would understand.
Did it again the next day.

When I want to ride, which I did today, I always put a few easy ones on top of the list and slide riding in #3. Something like....

1) Get up
2) Get dressed
3) Ride

I might sneak eating in between 2 & 3.


Seriously, I found it easier to block out an entire day and devote it to chores. Tell the friends and family not to call, unless they want to help, put on old clothes and go at it. Don't even shower until you're done. I usually pick a day somewhere around Thanksgiving and winterize all the lawn equipment and all the bikes except the 9er.

It amazing when people know you're working they leave you alone. If they want to see me during work mode they have to come over because I don't answer the phone. They aren't going to do that unless they're going to follow me around. If they do, I use them to fetch stuff. People leave quick when they realize they're a helper.

Hope there's lots of good riding days like this left.

Today it was 1) Get up, 2) See temperature is 32, 3) Go to car show with friend (it sucked), 4) See temp is about 40, 5) Go Riding.

I don't make no Honey Do List. I go ride very day and piddle with the other stuff if I feel like it. And don't go fishing.

umm.... got my 4 hours of sleep... got dressed went outside into 80 and sunny weather... got on the bike and rode 33 miles to work.... staying here for another 10mins... then goin to get back on the bike and ride home......
