ummm yep i do now, not the best time to be doing this but my gas tank had a lil paint flaw that has been driving me nuts so a spilled some paint stripper on it to start over, so i figured while doing that i could add a 2nd fuse block to run my 599 headlight and my heated grips, auto com and soon to be gps.

my whole engine is in pieces now, not by my choice. crankshaft bearing decided to commit suicide. I wish I had a camera today when I went to the dealer to decide what I wanted to do, that thing was messed up. didn't really plan on doing this mod but as long as the entire engine is apart it will be put back together a little bigger. my wr250 will soon be a wr290.

4500, warranty is long gone, I've had the bike a year and half. I swamped the bike in a waterhole on a trail when I had about 600 miles on it. my friends dad who is a mechanic at the dealership I bought it from checked it out, between him and I we changed the oil 3 times and everything seemed fine, and was for the next year. not sure if a little water got trapped or if this was just a case of bad luck and had nothing to do with swamping it. but just in case I don't recommend having your bike completely submerged in water. I did hear of another person who had done the same thing to their WR and their engine gave out at about 1700 miles if I remember correct.

Well that sucks. Would not mind to see rebuild pics along the way, especially since big bore. Are you running a programmer so you can tune for the big bore?
