Track day in NC or VA???

Any of you guys in either state done track days? I really want to look into doing one but am having trouble finding anything on Google, I know there has to be a place somewhere within 3-4 hour drive.

Thanks, I just found CornerSpeed at VIR, which looks pretty awesome. It's about 4 hours from me, but there was also Tony's Track Days in NJ which is a couple hundred dollars cheaper but a 6 hour drive, seems like it may be tailored more toward someones first track day though. Anyone here done a day at either?

I've heard good things about Cornerspeed, it's on my '2012 to do' list.

You can pick just about any group to run with, they should have a beginner class for you. I know the Team Promo gives you a free in-class for getting their membership/trackday.
I've gotten the best feedback from the CRs in MARRC, but they only run at Summit.
And of course if I see you out there, I don't mind following you for a few laps.

Yeah I really want to try and do it this year as well, may have to wait though because I still need to purchase some leathers, racing gloves/boots. May take me a while to save the cash for that.
