Actually now I'm not sure if that was the right bridge it may have been the William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial (Bay) Bridge coming out of Maryland...regardless it'll make you pray even if you're an atheist.

Can I get the short version, like dates and location? I'm too lazy to sort through all the postwhoring and it's not on the original post.

Jim, after this idea seems stable for a day, I will make a fresh post.
It appears Sept 19th Cookout at Little Island Park in Virginia Beach.
Sept 20th a meet and great then a local ride.

Yah, September 20th is my anniversary. What better way to spend it? I'll have to work on that one.

Can I bring a tent and sleep under Mark's RV? Is Mark bringing his RV? Do I care?

Jim.... If you like Rustic Camping.....

False Cape State Park offer rustic camping. Parking lot is about 1 mile from little island. You have to humpyour stuff another 3 miles or so to get to the campground.
My backyard is available for camping... and coffee in the am and a place to shower.

Okay, as long as I'm in country and there isn't a soccer, swimming, or any type of championship event for my girls ... I'll be at least making a showing. If I decide to stay the night. Is there a place to pitch a tent?

Now I need to break-in a new toy. Been sitting for a few months with only 38 miles on it! There be will some riding this weekend.

I'm late to the fray but may be able to do it.

If I come down one of you chumps is splitting lodging with me. I got a 2 bike trailer, and pick-up, can bring 3 bikes

If a back yard is needed...As stated before, I have tent space and I have room to stow away a bike or two in my garage

You got any cats? I might make dinner.

I've gotta work on the wife for this one. I usually don't do anniversary stuff but got the "why don't we " so I'll have to come up with something. Not sure as of now.

I dont have a bike at the moment...... but I still might consider this, depending on the date......

I could also drag the trailer behind the truck .... In case someone from the NJ area has issues...

Now it is gonna be a party!

I checked and will be able to reserve a 'Picnic area' for $50!

We should be golden.
If we are willing to make like college days and people bring sleeping bags, I can house a lot of people. I have a backyard for camping as does Simpson. There are countless hotels in the area.......

I would welcome anyone who wants to come into town Friday night to have a small party at mi casa. If it gets too big, we move to a local bar. I will house as many poor bastards as I can.

I am afraid of two things......
1) this becomes a beast and we suffer (fun)
2) this looks to be a beast and few follow through (weak)

So............
Tentative guest list to start tomorrow.

I've been looking for an excuse to use my tent and sleeping bag since the "Broke Back West Trip".
