Bounce it! e.g. let off the throttle, before you crack'er open. I had that problem for many many many miles. Part of the problem was lack of tire in the back, once that was corrected it was just a matter of getting the front suspension compressed. It seems counter intuitive (you are trying to get the front end UP, not down) buuuuuuuuuuuuut, that's the way it rolls! I'm still far from comfortable pulling the front up, even more so now that I have been out of the saddle for ~3mo. Take it slow, take it easy, but you can get there. BTW, I run a 17t front sprocket, so it can be a little more difficult than it should be. I hear a 15t sprocket leads to hooliganism.

I run one tooth bigger Countersprocket, with a Kyle-racing-provided PCIII Map for debaffled stock mufflers. Mine will lift in second while sitting by whacking the throttle open. Before I went to one tooth bigger CS, it surprised me a couple of times when rolling on in 2nd when I was hustling along. It was one of the reasons I went to a larger CS...I prefer to limit wheelying to my off-road bikes.

Mine has only really ever wheelied easily when taking the fat chick down the road for a ride on the back... Maybe has something to do with being fat?
