This thread seems to be mostly about bulbs at this point but I'm about to try this:

projector retrofit into gen1 and gen2 naked sv650 - Suzuki SV650 Forum: SV650, SV1000, Gladius Forums

It should work with our stock headlight. But, I can't say for sure. It would be nice to find a know retrofit for the 919. Maybe I'll order one and post results. I just don't want to be without a headlight if it all goes wrong.

Looks like it should work in the 919 headlight, very interesting.
