So there. Now y'all can't say that I"m .
yeah I believe ya google, I've put 19.2l in my bike with out it running out! So 470ml more is very plausible.
and at -2 deg I'd say that would shrink most anything, including making trash talkers nobs into Vaginas

+1 on rip-off station, including ones down under. Time to call dept of agriculture for a pump test.

well, i finally managed to completely run out of fuel today due to being in a hurry and not keeping track of mileage after the fuel light came on. ran it so dry i couldn't get the bike to restart no matter how much i tilted the bike over in an attempt to get fuel to drain over to the pickup. ended up pushing the bike about a mile to the gas station on the freeway lol. when i filled up, only managed to stuff in 5.072 gallons of fuel. i was right at the brim but luckily no fuel spilled over when i closed the cap. now keep in mind my gas tank is dented on the left side in the typical spot to add more to the situation lol.

i know the fuel pump metering was correct as i pumped in a gallon first to test where it was at before continuing on. so i conclude it COULD be plausible to stuff that much fuel into the bike if you run it so dry that it wont fire back up again. i was just shocked i went over 5 gallons to begin with!

If the red 919's have a larger tank, would that explain why they are slower?

Tilt the bike as much as you want....fuel pickup is mid-tank so you're only fighting gravity trying to tip it over and catch fuel.

The other day I had the light come on getting to work, rode it for 20 more miles to a Buffalo Wild Wing to catch a game afterwards when I got off... Exiting the freeway, she backfired twice and stalled when I was coming to a stop. Tilted her left and after a few cranks got her to a gas station. Only filled to 4.8G

Haha, you're the ones that egged me into this in the first place. I already have two witnesses, two photographs of two different times, and an undoctored video.

Burden of proof is now on you guys,

Ha I thought about this thread when I put over 4 gallons in the 919. Forgot that the claim was over 5 gallons, not 4, lol. I was excited about my 4.

The trick to getting the extra amount in there is patience and letting the gas bubble back down while the vent tube lets air out.

Once the gas hits the bottom of the 'neck', you can almost get another gallon in there.

Serious.

The hard part is finding the gas pumps that let you 'eek' out the gas at a trickle. Anything faster and it's not worth it.

Haha, I just re-read this entire thread. Good times...

I think you all are just butt hurt that your bike doesn't hold 5.2 gallons
