IMO I think it is overpriced but no by much. Everything is negotiable. Vintage bikes are bringing top $$ these days. Always liked the BSA styling over the Triumph.

Thinking of getting a vintage bike?
I've always wanted a vintage. Don't have the time to restore, therefore, one in decent shape would be nice.
Actually, thinking about selling everything off and moving out of the country. Only keeping one residence and one car.

hey or even a sv650... and lower it for her... it dont have much power and its light... and you can pick up a used one for cheep... hell you can get a new one for cheep....
How much is Suzuki paying you to sell their old GS 500's?
nothing... i am not selling bikes anymore... i was/am always able to help people get more bang for their buck...
i know the learning curve is short on the 250's...
any small cruiser is gonna piss her off if yall go riding in the mountains or a long trip on the highway because if it gets spirited she will not be able to keep up.. which will discourage her.. and then make you have to purchase another bike so's she can keep up...
this way you only have to buy once and it will be good for a couple years ...
and it is not "too much" for her to start on..
but the most important thing is if she cannot keep up she will loose interest quick quick..
If someone is looking for a great starter bike / something smaller to ride - this is THE BEST !! I had one of these when I was 16, did several longer trip on it and never had an issue. It ran between 90 and 100 pretty much all the way across Arkansas and didnt use a drop of oil and kept up with bigger bikes - Great, great bike !

Yeah Mike looks good I did a Demo ride last year and really liked it. Next question how do i make 7000 magically appear. I could have that thing in my garage for months without my wife knowing it's there.

May I interest you in something a little different?

I have to hold off another year to buy something new. At that time I will be going back down to one bike. Not enough time or room in the garage for 3-4 motorcycles. So no amount of flowers will change my wifes mind right now.
