See? Gun control works! As in, aim carefully, and slowly squeeze the trigger.

If you shoot, shoot to kill. Looks like a good example to me.

Felony murder charges?... LOL.

So... 2 guys try to rob me... I kill one of them and the other guy is facing murder charges? Honestly, it's ridiculous...

I won't shed a tear for the thief's death but felony murder charges just don't make sense.

Felony murder is "your companion died as a direct result of your actions." I.E., if you and a buddy rob a bank and he gets fatally shot, you are charged with felony murder.

Love laws in your land, there a fair call as i see it. Here in Australia the do gooders are calling for Police pursuits after cars to be banned because over the last few weeks the perps have ran into poles etc and killed themselves. To me that's just sweet justice.

Hey, watch it there. It's a 5000 dollar bike If you rode one with a few mods, you would kill for it too. Love my DRZ. I wish Suzuki still sell SMs in US, I would get another one. It's like 9er in Supermoto world, not KTM or Husky but much more reliable than listed above.
Cheap price, available cheap parts, reliable low maintenance engine, a few mods and you got yourself a toy

Same thing is happening to a man down in Texas. They broke into a womans home she called 911 and asked if she could shoot them. The 911 operator said do what you have to do to protect your 4month old baby. So the woman shot one of the men. Cops came, man had a pipe in his hands, so she is off on Self Defense (rightfully so) now the other man who fled the sceen is up for Murder One charges. And damn right he should be.

I don't have a problem with it. If someone else dies as a direct result of your criminal actions, you should be responsible for it - and that's what the charge of "felony murder" is. Innocent bystander, your co-conspirator, it doesn't matter - you chose to commit a crime, a felony, and someone died as a direct result. You deserve and earned that charge.

Also, that woman was in Oklahoma and the perp had a knife. Oh, and he'd been trying to get into her house (along with his buddy) for 20 minutes: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_1...ting-intruder/

However, there was a similar incident here in Texas not too long ago, same outcome. Self-defense laws are pretty similar between Oklahoma and Texas.

"Young has an extensive criminal record -- including an arrest in July of 2010 for homicide."

They should also charge with "felony murder" ppl who let him back on the street 2 years after homicide
