AAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Nothing like a good 85 mile loop to start off the good weather.

Headed out from my house at 2:15 yesterday afternoon at about 58 degrees. Had a 2006 FJR and a 2007 600RR following.

Good ride! Sorry I didn't call you Sniper, it was short notice.

Excuse me. I just started coughing for some reason. HAHA

I'd love to hit the track. That would be awesome!

I'm jealous of BOTH of you.

Getting rain this week, so by the weekend ALL of our snow should be gone.
Then we'll only have the gravel/litter mix and a countless number of pot holes to deal with.

Everyone I talk to keeps asking me "you ride your bike yet?"...
I keep telling them "no - it's not safe yet"
There are a number of people here, though, who have ventured out.
I'm waiting patiently.
Yeah, I wanna get out, but my schedule is full enough that I'm not consumed by it.

I've been distracted by guitar lessons & the hunt for a Les Paul Classic

Speaking of being on the hunt for a guitar...

I stopped by Guitar Center while I was near Chicago. I was pecking around on a Gibson acoustic when one of the sales guys walks in. He asked if I looked at the carbon fiber guitars and I told him I did but didn't know what to think. He grabbed it off the wall and tossed it on the ground fairly hard a couple times then strummed it. It was still in tune. His pitch was "Would you toss a $2,500 Gibson like that?"

OMG, NO!! No I wouldn't do that.

Maybe I'll have to go to my local GC & do that myself
I can picture it now, as they aproach me throwing the guitar on the floor repetitively...
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?!
Me: Oh, just testing it for durability

I've seen CF guitars being made on TV or internet somewhere, but can't remember where. Are you familiar with PARKER guitars? Super thin, ultra light weight electric guitars.
Back in the early 90s I remember picking one up and being in total disbelief at the weight (or lack-there-of)... I wonder if it was CF.
