Sweet road close to home

I know it's been a few days now, but Friday after work I was wasting some time waiting to meet my wife in town. I burned out towards the airport to look at a jobsite we have going and found a road that is way, way too short. It is probably the most fun road I've found around here so far. Fairly low speed is still fun. I was riding about 40-50 mph and was comfortable, but still having fun leaning the bike over quite a bit. Snapped a couple pics from 1 spot.

That is brutally short! Have you ridden near Ten Mile Lake or Woman Lake? From the map, looks doable.

haven't been up there in at least 10 years. Didn't even think of it to be honest, but I remember some sweet roads. I'll have to make the trip one of these weekends. It's not too bad of a ride. Problem is, the guy I normally ride with has a 81 Yamaha XS650. Not exactly quick or nimble.

So many great roads near the Brainerd area. I always liked crooked lake road (Co Rd 124) towards bay lake... just watch out for deer.

thanks for the hint! I can take that on the way home... in a round about way. I've ran down Nokay Lake road (really close to Crooked Lake road) many times, but not on the 9er yet. Might have to do that too.
