Love or Hate???

So my wife had this framed for my birthday this weekend. Giving it to me in September has me wondering if it was love or hate.

This is Highway 42 in Door County, WI. The "thumb" for those of you not in the state. This picture has definitely made it one of my future destinations. Now I have to sit and stare at it until next summer since there is no time available for me to make it all the way over there this year.

Has anyone been on this with a 2-wheeler to speak of experience on this road one way or the other?

Wow!

Just trying to look at it from a non-motorcyclist point of view, why the hell are there so many curves that basically goes in a straight line?

The road designer was a motorcyclist

Beautifull looking piece of road there, I'd hang that pic in my house.

When, yes when I get over there, I will be sure to take a look at the terrain and come back with a full report. It may be a little blurry though

Nice pic. That's one of those roads where you come around a corner and have that scenery open up in front of you. You're on two wheels.

The first thing your eyes do is scan for possible confrontations. It could be in the form of LEO, deer, cars, etc. If you see the road as depicted in the picture, then the second thing your mind does is see the fastest way thru which is a straight line.

Then your jaw muscles take over and you smile, knowing that you can run it on your side of the yellow and have a blast.

From there it's up to you.

Unfortunately I've only been on that particular piece of beautiful piece of pavement in a four wheeled truck loaded down with tools.

I have wanted to go back with 2 wheels and a sports car ever since.
