Fall Moto-Vacation

Went on a Fall motorcycle vacation with my Dad last week. First Deals Gap; though cut short with the terd ferguson weather. Back up to Lexington with some trips around Kentucky and a distillery. Who knows what's coming next? Here are some of my favorite pics from the vacation so far.

Just before the Foothills Parkway East of Marysville, TN

Said foothills parkway. The fog was as thick as soup and completely clouded over what would have been some great views. *sigh*

The skies opened up for a little bit on the Cherahola Skyway.

On the Cherahola.

Look familiar

Fall Dragon.

'Kill-pops'

'Kill-nater'

When leaving, some group of 5 moron semi truck drivers decided to get stuck and block traffic for a long time. I thought getting stuck behind a group of Harley's on the Dragon was the worst possible thing to happen on this road, until seeing an 50 ft semi stuck in the ditch on a road they don't belong on.

My dad makes new spyder friends wherever he goes.

Ride to Shakertown

Hung like a....

How did people have fun before motorcycles?

I guess this is how.

There'll be more to come.

Beautiful trip and pictures! I don't know WHY I don't just move to NC. I need 20 acres that look just like those pictures.

That looks like some great riding, Nathan! I'm guessing your pops is enjoying the Spyder quite well, too!

I hope I have a chance to make it back out that way next year...Spring, summer, fall, anytime would be fine with me!
