2400 miles in 69 hours :)

On friday i sent out on an adventure. I rode from champaign, il to rochester, nh and back in 3 day. Friday i rode from champiagn to albany new york. Saturday i rode from albany to rochester and back. Sunday i rode from albany back to champaign. It was a blast and rt-9 in vermont and new hampshire is absolutely amazing. I don't have many pics as well, i was busy riding. The whole point was to ask my girls parents if i could marry their daughter. They approved and i promptly got on one knee when i got home at 3am. She also said yes! The only casualties of the trip were thousands of bugs, every apex on every curve on the way, and my did erv3 chain. I can see shreds of x-ring hanging out of alot of links. I guess that chain wasn't designed for long distance riding. Fyi, i lubed it every gas stop. I passed alot of bikes on the trip so maybe i saw some of you i didn't get to take many pics because i was too busy putting miles on.

So you averaged 35MPH every hour over that time period.

Cool! Did you know they make things called airplanes? I'm just teasing you it makes for a great story. My wife drove from Florida to Texas with her engagement ring in the center console of her car and never knew it was there. It's the good stories that make a good marriage.

Married life is great for me, wish you the best.

Thanks everybody. The lady and i will be doing a celebratory trip to the dragon next month. That will be her first time out of the state on a bike. Compared to this ride, the dragon will be a cake walk.

i also carried the ring i bought nearly everyday for 2 weeks, including a full day of snowboarding before proposing to her that night in front of friends and family the night before her major surgery. not married yet but looking forward to it. cant wait!

Congratulations!! Awesome time in your life! Nice work on the ride, I don't think I could saddle the stock seat for that long. Did 250 miles one day and it was killing me! Best of luck!
