everyone needs to leave tiger *(who i really didnt like until this accident and his total "f you" to the media has totally earned my respect) and his wife alone....
it is noone's business and contrary to popular belief they do not "owe" anyone anything in the line of a explanation... he has the $$ to pay for the tree, truck, and fire hydrant so the media and FHP can all fook off............

Would you guys leave me alone if my wife beat me up?
I don't think so
I gotta get a job as an animator for some Asian news service.... "We don't have real footage...so we'll simulate the ass beating" ...I freakin love it.

It is a private matter and everyone shoud get their noses out of it. I admire Tiger as a golfer and certainly don't put him there as a personal ethic role model.
Domestic upheaval happens on a regular basis and affecting many families out there. I wouldn't want people asking me for a public explanation or apology should something like that happened to me.
yeah well you dig deep enough and everyone has a couple skeletons......
i honestly don't care if he was boinking the mormon tabernacle choir.....
not my business... nothing to see... lets move along *(this being said to the media)
I totally agree 100% - I don't watch him golf because I appreciate his family efforts! Although Elin was nice to see on the sidelines occassionally. Its his skill at hitting a small ball into a small hole from great distances.
The issue MANY will have, is that Tiger profitted A LOT from his image as a stand up, clean cut guy. NO ONE since Jordan has done it so well - keeping his life private. And of course look how that turned out for Jordan in the long run! So now that Tiger has been fed into our lives in every media format avaiable as the 2nd coming of Christ both on and off the course... people will want to know more. If your selling one thing... and in fact it isnt true, people will want the truth. No matter how private the matter is.
Hopefully it blows over and he's able to move on with the Mrs. Something tells me it wont be easy though.
Like Midwest said, he's made staggering amounts of coin, partly because he was deemed such a stand up guy. It is to the people that signed these checks and nobody else (besides his family and friends)that he owes the apology. Unfortunately for Tiger that apology must be public and contrite.
It's a proven formula. We've all seen it before. A-Rod, Letterman etc. etc. When you come clean the public forgives, eventually forgets. Tiger's is not one of the "Limelight" preofessions where any publicity is good publicity..... and you can get all high and mighty and say you don't care, but lots of people do care....for whatever warped reasons. People who buy stuff and people who ramble on in front of cameras.
Disagree if you want, but if I'm the guy from (insert brand name here...Buick, Nike etc.) that brought Tiger in and signed the 8 figure check, I'm not too happy right now.
So you just stand in front of the cameras for 5 minuites and give an apology. Don't get too specific on the details. No questions please.
And you move on.....and then the public moves on to the next feeding frenzy when some other celeb dies or F's up.
Gee, I posted that because I thought Wanda was rather funny. When your in the public eye unfortunately your private life isn't private or yours anymore.
Personally I could care less what Tiger does, just goes to show that it doesn't matter where that decimal point is in your checkbook or what your mate looks like some people want more.
Looking forward to springtime
Riding season just around the corner
Rich
tiger should tell the whole world to "f off" and retire and buy a nice little island.... like cuba or one of the bahama islands... then he can live the rest of his life as he wishes......
but seriously the man has more money than god... he don't owe anyone *(other than his wife and kids) anything... at all... he could/should tell everyone to suck it....

You would think he could... but then you read THIS from todays stories!
While Woods is one of the world's richest athletes, he often lamented that "he wasn't as financially stable as he wanted to be," she said.
WOW - I was stunned. Is that some line you tell your hussy so you dont have to buy them a birthday present? Or is he serious? He cant be serious...
Oh wait - there's more...
Grubbs said she partied with Woods and his posse and had sex with the golf champ for the first time a few days later in San Diego.
"Afterward, he was like, 'You should probably go,'" she said, explaining that Woods prefers to sleep alone.
OUCH - I think you should go! Oh my... nothing like getting the 'dont let the door hit you in the a$$ on the ay out"! Hell, even XX lets them spend the night!
I was wondering how long it would take for these to come up. Punch lines:
1.Tiger's new movie is out: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Hydrant.
2.Apparently the police asked Tiger's wife how many times she hit him. She said "I don't know exactly… but put me down for a 5."
3.Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole-in-one.
4.What's the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a ball 400 yards……..
5.What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the morning? They went clubbing
6.Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn’t decide between a wood and an iron.
7.Phil Mickelson contacted Tiger's wife to pick up some tips on how to beat Tiger!

i agree it's no ones biz, but think its kind of "meh" for him to diss the media...
the same media that's diggin for info, helped market him and make him a billionaire....he doesn't owe us a damn thing, which is correct, but for him to diss the media is a bit like "c'mon dude, who are you kidding, you're famous and rich, quit acting like it's a shock your life is exposed. Your life was exposed the moment your Dad started marketing you on talk shows when you were 7.
the fact of the matter is he wouldn't be dissing anyone if he could just keep his "driver" on the golf course and not in other womens pants. None of my biz, but he shouldn't act shocked people are being nosy.

Bingo. His life will be a media hell from now on.

Tiger Woods was a childhood hero of mine. He influenced my life in more ways than just my love for the game of golf. I looked up to him for the accomplishments he had made on the course, in school, and in life. I have always held him in the highest regard.
While I do not condone his behavior, it is hard for me to throw him under the bus like many others have. All I can do is close my eyes and hope he finds his way back to shorter grass. I wish him luck, and hope he is a better man when this is over.
I'll still cheer for him on Sundays, but the truth is that I, along with many others, lost a longtime hero this week.

Doesn't losing half of your fortune in divorce often makes you a better (or at least more cautious) man.
He had a few mistresses. Maybe he's a bad husband, not necessarily a bad person. It's not like he killed anybody or got a BJ in the oval office.
Whatever. I think the whole thing is funny.
