Ride For The Hills. Melbourne, Aust.

Thought I'd post up a couple of vids/links to last weekends event here in Melbourne. The ride was organised to support and raise money for those affected by the recent bushfires across Victoria and the outer fringes of Melbourne.

Cool vids, great cause. I hope you guys raised lots of money. Still freaks me out riding on the left side of the road.

Not sure on the number of riders involved, (estimated 3,000) but we all paid $20 to participate and $1 for the pillion. Hopeful that with other fundraisers around the event may have reached towards the $100,000 mark.

Overall, through donations to date, Red Cross Australia raised over $300million.

*as a personal note, on the second vid, I'm riding past on the blue 9er with my daughter pillioning(? is that a word ?) around 0:24. And on the third vid, I'm sitting in the background, again at the 0:24 mark.

It was a fantastic event where all manner of bikes, trikes and scooters took part. Perfect eye candy for the biker in us.
