My new ride. cbr954rr

I picked this up a few weeks ago. Just wanted to show it off a little. I ordered a bunch of little things for it so when I get those done I'll post some new pics. Sorry these aren't the greatest pic.

Coming home

Very good choice in motorcycle! I can't remember, but I think someone on this board recently got one of these as well, and is amazed on how it's not more popular, especially for the performance you get for the money. Quite a sharp looking motorcycle.

fine looking specimen there! Only real complaint is the huge long exhaust... id say half that length it would be perfect... otherwise bitch bike man!

myself personally... i would have to put some dirbike bars on it to get the riding stance i like haha.

Very nice. Unfortunately that looks like a 2Bros carbon and they tend to discolour. Otherwise very sweet.

That is a very nice machine. Always liked the 954, especially that color combo.

Thanks everyone. I do plan on cutting that exhaust down and maybe trying to spray it with some taillight tinting paint or something. We'll see.

Started working on this thing. First was taking off some of the factory reflectors and license plate brackets a few weeks ago. Today I finished taking off the stunt cage that was on it. It kinda sucked the way the PO did it, but I got it off. Next on the to do list is to make my new license plate bracket, put on my intergrated taillight, new turn signals, new grips too.

Me working on getting the cage off.

Cage is off.

One of the reasons I sold the 919 was because I miss not having a fairing. Maybe one day if I get bored with it, but I doubt it.

that's funny, i went the opposite direction. went for the 919 because it didn't HAVE fairings. hated the fact that i had to spend 2+ hours taking off/reinstalling the fairings just to do any amount of engine work. not to mention the crazy amount of time required to wipe down the fairings to keep it relatively clean since i ride in the rain all the time.

great looking bike though and should be a blast. enjoy!

Always thought it was easier for me to keep a faired bike clean than my current 919.

guilty as charged.... I like my bitches dirty

I wipe her down at least once a month, clean/lube the chain when it starts making excessive vibrations (every 400-600 miles depending on riding conditions) and use engine cleaner after the rain season passes.

at least I ride it instead of spending crazy amounts of $ on farkles just to have it sit in the garage and come online to whine about said bike in garage while power tripping over someone's posts about fuel injection
