motogp.com question

Anyone have the full access High Resolution package with motogp.com?
Need to know if the video player can be blown up across a 50" monitor and still be viewable or if the player restricts the largest setting to something smaller.

Does that make sense? Some players limit the maximum viewable size and I want to know just how big the player will expand.

Thanks.

I tried the demo (LR & HR), and clicking the window magically fills the screen. The LR pix is horrible and not viewable on 50"! Unfortunately the HR is compressed and the picture suffers aliasing. Makes it tough to justify the 90 euro fee, but I still may do it.

Under the Left Videos pulldown, select "buy videoPass" button to reach the lower right demo page.

Note the LR pix would be awesome on an old 12" B&W TV.

Kevin:

I had it last year and, at times, I used the Color stream cables to view the races from the pc on my 36" TV. I am not going to lie to you and say that the quality is as good as the one you can get from SpeedTv but, it was close enough for me to enjoy it... more so when you have the full pre-race, race & post race commercial free.

I opted not to have it this year but with the problems I am having trying to watch it from the MyP2P.eu, I am debating whether to hook it up or not.

Truth be told, I usually watched the races on my 22" Widescreen LCD and the quality was superb, only problem was comfort from the chair compare to the bed.

The compressed ugly "HR" video really bothers me. Instead of exporting euros contributing to the trade imbalance, I'd prefer to see the only MGP US stop July 5th at Laguna Seca! Is there still room in WT's private luxury box?

Jet, Did you find the compressed video as lousy as I did? I don't get it, don't watch it live, and I don't mind waiting for it to spool up on my disk off their slow network so there is no need for them to crapify their otherwise brilliant picture. They saved me some dough...

we watched the sample and it was a little pixelated but not as bad as I was expecting so we bought it anyway. Since we're IPTV it's the only way we have to watch the races.

Enjoy the best seat at the track! Hopefully they will use your dough to increase their Bandwidth to low res quality.

I'm waiting for my last TV rebate check and seeing LanceA suffer through July's TdF before returning to air-TV. However if they prevent LA from racing I'll cancel tomorrow.

it's odd at first but once you get accustomed to it there are advantages. Just the other day it occurred to me that I hadn't seen Top Gear for a while, click click click and then had 3 hours of shows playing in the background while I did things around the house.
