Look who stoped by my shop last week!

None other than our very own resident techno-geek (I mean that in the best possible way!) Rob Tharalson and his girlfriend Kim. At first I didn't recognise him without his ponytail and his 919! It was really great to see him and to finally meet Kim....she's totally awsome and perfect for Rob! We got to visit for a few hours and I traded some great stories with Kim. I can't wait to see them again. For those of you who have met Rob before he cut off his long hair, I have posted a pic of him & Kim so you can see what he looks like now with short hair (and a girlfriend!).

That doesn't look like the same Rob from the past pics ... I'm thinking "Body Snackers" or the influence of a good woman? Hmmmmm ...

Yep, that's Rob alright. Good to see him up and around. Did he say how his knee was doing?

I always thought Rob just stayed home and wrote technical manuals.

Yes, made as narrow as possible. It will be expertly designed and someone here will be recruited to test it.

Always fun to compare the actual person to the image in your head. I had him pegged as a muscle-bound Swede with Coke-bottle glasses. Ooops.

"Roger That on Rob's picture," I know, I feel smarter for reading his postings!
I will admit that I too had a COMPLETE different image of what his appearance "read like" to me. Pocket protector, thick military "Birth Control" specs, pressed white lab coat w/fancy name badge sportin lotsa long creditials.....

I had a similar picture in my head but it had visions of custom bars involved in a welding jig.

Rob has always been a wealth of great information in this forum, all of it given freely and usually available with a simple shout out...

A sincere thank you Sir from one of us..
