OK who's the rider in this commercial? Kenny Roberts? Ponch's partner in CHIPS?

That rider is me in 20 years or so. Still riding, though with a full coverage helmet.
The bike: a CB550 (clutch arm on the right side) with a CX 500 / 650 front wheel and custom seat and tank.

here's the gig, shannon at ss classics SS Classics | Vintage Honda Motorcyles | Cafe Racers | Venice, Los Angeles built the bike, a cb550 it got rented through yoshi at the garage co. vintage motorcycle aka cafe racer tv celeb. to use in this commercial. I guess yoshi slapped that front wheel on. why? i haven't a clue. also the director wanted to shoot a burnout an I loaned them my rear wheel as backup. my wheel came back the same as it went out so I think that scene went in the bin. bummer I was hoping for a new avon. cheers mike
Still trying to find out who the rider is. At first I thought it was Peter Egan of Cycle World, but unless he has aged 15 years in the last three it's unlikely. The production company, Imaginary Forces - UnitedHealthcare - Wild One | Imaginary Forces either couldn't or wouldn't release the information, but he looks familiar, so i'll go through my archive photos to see if he is an old AFM or other club racer.

Nonetheless, I like the ad.

I like it also, I figured it was a 550 by the shape of the rear brake pedal. GEE I was sure someone would pop right up with the answer.

I love when that commercial comes on TV. 8-) Awwww...just remembered we canceled cable lol.

The other day, I stumbled upon the Honda GB series motorcycles. I had no idea Honda made cafe racers at one time. I think it's so nice looking.
