Buckaroo Bonzai reference...nice. One of my favorite scifi movies. I think the helmet is sick.

I'll definitely recognize you once I leave that little daub of raw ground beef outside to rot.

Please tell your friends that they are welcome to hover above the garbage can but are definitely prohibited from coming inside the house.

Thanks.

I'll be interested in your opinion of a fit-test an ride test myself...how comfy, how loud inside, etc. weird looking, but it has all the modern features...

Does it have optional antennae to attach to the top? If it comes in yellow, it would fit the "Hornet" motif...if I'd be caught dead wearing it.

Looks "special", interesting in fact, but my $$ is that all those lines and design = lots of noise inside...

The review I read said it was pretty quiet, but that's a bonus..I just want to freak out my friends and scare the Sci-Fi crowd.

I got it and it's pretty cool..a strange fit though, very tight to get on and it will pin your ears at the tops until you wear it in a bit. Sure does get the looks though..I can just hear Robin of Loxley, "Do you know Praying Mantis?" (obscure Robin hood Men in Tights" reference). The visibility is OUTSTANDING! I wouldn't expect to the chin guard to do a hell of a lot of guarding in a major furball but it keeps the wind and bugs off your face nicely. This helmet is light too...very light and I like that. I'll add pictures tomorrow to this thread, I got mine in black. I'd say it's worth the money as a second helmet but not as a primary helmet. it's nowhere near the helmet my Scorpion EXO900 is. It's (the Vemar) more of a " 'scuse me while I whip this out" kind of lid.

JB, What's the chin bar made of? I don't know about spending $200+ for a 'secondary' helmet... I also see they have a bluetooth model for $300.

The chinbar is made of the same plastic as the helmet. It's a god fit and a good match colorwise. It's just not all that beefy like some, my Scorpion EXO 900 is a Tank in comparison. The EXO 900 is my primary helmet and I like it better than my EXO 1000 as well.

I'm interested to see a photo of this helmet in action - in full riding gear, at speed. Have someone drive next to you in a car and take a photo out the window!

I gotta say, as a second helmet, that is one cool lid. Where did you pick it up? How do you think it wil be for warm weather riding?
