Well signed up here cause you can't have too many forum memberships right?

I have an 02 919 in matte black that I bought in 2005. Love the bike, does everything I ask it to do including a month long tour through the country back in 2006.

Life got in the way for a few years, between kid, buying a house, etc. life conspired to keep me off the bike for a few years but now I'm back to the world of riding and the 9er is running tip top. A couple thousand more miles on odometer this season and I'm feeling better.

Looking to get some advice on wrenching, adding electrics, aftermarket parts, etc. and this seems like the largest collection of 919 riders in North America. Strange how we seem to find each other innit?

I guess that is longwinded enough, I suppose a simple hello would have done......

more like took me long enough to sign up and post. Found the site years ago but when I had to put the bike away for 3 years I didn't torture myself with bike sites and magazines. It was bad enough walking past in the garage to get in the car.

side note: why can I not see the profile pic in my posts? it is there when I go into my settings as my current profile pic....
