New Member from S.E. Alabama

Hello Together,

I was looking for a forum that can help me find some riders around the area that I live in.

I have been riding on and off since I was 14 and I am proud to say that my Grand-grandfather was organizing motorcycle races in the '30s in Romania. My Grandfather rode motorcycles for over 40 years and the first motorcycle that I ever rode was his 50 cc Mobra when I was 14 - by then he had passed away for 6 years. Coming from Europe, I am really into the Streefighter cult and I am hoping to get the funds and time to transform my 919 in the Streetfighter that I always wanted.

I have been in the US for 5 years now (all legal) and after a 7 year break, I finally got my bike last year. I have been putting as many "commuter" miles on it as I only can, just trying to get back in the saddle again (I was more than a little rusty after the long break).

Hello Everyone,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and for the compliments on my bike!

I have to say that couldn't be more pleased with my choice, even though I was reluctant at first in what the color was concerned - it sure is something different and for the more conservetive European it even looks "flashy". Nevermind - I like my Green Hornet a lot!

I was pointed to this website by a fellow Niner Rider and WT member (or at least he was one last year) named Chris. You can see him in one of the albums that I posted. He is/was with the military at Ft. Rucker and unfortunately since my phone died in a tragic hammer "incident", I do not have his number anymore... If you know this gentleman, please direct him to me because I could sure use some riding buddies.

My first impression of the forum: very nice community, tons of info and events, and too many people that ride the same type of bike that I do

If you happen to be in my area or happen to ride by, do not hesitate to contact me because I enjoy riding with fellow nest members.
