New guy here from western NC

What's going on everybody?? Just stumbled upon this forum so figured I'd join up... I'm on a handful of other forums so some may have seen me around before

Anyways, my name is Jared, I'm 29 and live in the beautiful mountains of western NC. Been riding 6.5 years now on my ever faithful '04 CBR 600 F4i. She's been around the block 'a few' times, but runs great and has treated me like a king. I looooooove to ride and travel as well, so I ride every chance I get and take as many long roadtrips as I can as well

A few pics...

The mistress

Myself

Amateur trackday junkie too, lol..... from my first

And my kiddos.... they're a little hairy and talk kinda funny, but I love them just the same

That's about all there is to know about me, lol..... hope to see some of y'all around!

I know this spot! Lookout point, tons of good stuff to your left and right. I would say behind you but I wasn't going to drag the 9er under the gate

Yup about 30 miles or so from Shelby.... I live 2 miles off of 226, waaaaaaayyy out in the sticks, lol. Closer to Forest City than anything. I used to live over by Asheville too, in Mills River right by the airport, then down in Hendersonville right off Upward Rd

You still out this way, or in CO now?

Welcome! I ride up in NC pretty regularly as there are plenty of great roads waiting to be explored. Generally I stay more to the far west of the state, but have ventured over toward Shelby a couple times...

Congrats on the miles. Keep putting them on!

yep, we do. sadly, she's spending most of the year on stands -- my job has me pretty much living in L.A. these days. and the perfect riding weather out here isn't helping the separation anxiety...

were you on CBRWorld as well? I think that forum has pretty much died, I was there all the time back in the early 2000's, now that I have a 9'ner this is the only moto forum I frequent anymore, WELCOME!

Hahaha yup CBRWorld was one of the very first forums I joined up on when I first bought my bike back in '04, lol. It was a great forum back in the day with tons of info and some great people, but it really did just up and die. I haven't been on there in YEEAAAARRRSS!!

But I'm pretty sure I remember you.... let me see how good my memory is (and without going back and looking you up, hahah).... if I remember right, you're name was Chris, and you had a picture of a red/white F4i and a 5th gen Prelude in your siggy. Am I right??
