I've been signed up for awhile now, I don't think I've really posted. I run around on a 2010 body style (2011 registration) Triumph Speed Triple. It's completely stock, not looking for a lot of large mods right now but I'm here to learn what I can.
Couple of shots riding around with a buddy on his Busa...

Welcome!
Nice looking Triumph, good colors. We need more pics!!!!
I used to have a Triumph and I went to school in Iowa, but it looks like you're in Cyclone land, I was a Hawkeye.
Southeast corner, Jefferson County. Grew up on a farm near the little village of Libertyville, went to high school in Fairfield, lived briefly in Ottumwa, attended college at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Couldn't wait to get out of Iowa, but looking back I realize it was an outstanding place to grow up and go to school.
Welcome!

That's impressive you could tell I was in Ames. Actually I live up in Coralville, going to the University of Iowa and working full time. Wishing there was a Triumph dealership less than 85 miles away from me but you know what, I'm happy with my choice so it doesn't matter .

Iowa really isn't that bad of a state these days, there's actually a decent amount to do around here and very friendly people. Nice, quiet, comfortable...

Agreed I like it here and don't see myself moving out of the state, still not many twisties around here.

I used to work at a Bumper to Bumper auto parts store in Coralville when I was going to the U of I. Had friends from Anamosa, Grinnell & Des Moines. We used to go camping at Yellow River every year.
Yeah, when I had my Triumph it was difficult to find a dealership near me too. Closest one was an hour ride. But, like you, I was happy with my choice and figured if I had to go to the dealer I also got a good ride in!
