I'm Back, Again...

Well the title says it all. A lot has been happening lately.

As all the longtime members know, I sold the 919 a while back then bought a fixer upper CBR 600RR. I was a full-time college student with no money or time to work on her. And now I'm deployed again. You know what that means! Money to fix the bike (and yes I saw the 04 silver 919 in the classifieds *sigh*), fix my car, and build a few new guns.

The only catch is that back in February I got married right before the deployment. Now that I have a cute little wifey, I don't think I'm allowed to spend money on whatever I please. Either way, I'm going to try and have that CBR roadworthy within the first few weeks of being home (hopefully leaving trashcanistan sometime next month).

Well I'm gonna try and be more present now, and get in on some of the 'interesting' discussions that take place here.

Will your next return be it?

You've put in quite allot of time if I remember right. That's allot of in-country.

Here's the best to you and your little bride, Daddy-o!!!!!!!!
Stay safe and make the towel heads moist-in-the-red-mist.

Thanks all. I'm still convincing the wife that I'm not reckless on motorcycles anymore, I don't drive fast anymore, I'm done drinking, done smoking, don't wanna skydive, no more scuba diving with sharks, pretty much a laid back responsible husband who is going to finish his degree and pay bills on time, AND THEN she MIGHT let me get another 919 to save gas with

Second 7.5 month deployment... Not as bad as some, but not as easy as most. This job is taking a toll, and yes I have the option to get out very soon. I actually extended my enlistment to come over here for this deployment. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet when I get home. (can't say when that will be [OPSEC], but I'll let y'all know when I do return to the CONUS)
