Hi, I'm a Kawasaki Addict

Hey guys,

Just kind of stumbled across this forum this morning. Read through some posts and it seems like a cool place to hang out for a while, if you'll accept a Kawi rider into the mix that is

I live in Charlotte NC and ride a Kawi ZRX 1100:

I like to get dirty sometimes too:

And here's my 250 commuter/corner carver that I sold last year - wish I hadn't sold it:

I also happen to work for Competition Accessories, but I'm not here to try to sell you stuff, I just like to RIDE

So hi!

So when can we start buying stuff from you?

Jk! Welcome!

You'll be more than at home here. BigDaa is a Kawi rider, has plenty to say, too.

And LDH also works for Kyle Racing, and also gives deals to WT members, so no worries there either.

Nice ride!

Welcome and finally someone else with a Kawasaki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep I have 3 ZRX's and no Honda 919. I just ride the "WIFES" 919 occassionally to make sure it is still in working order.

This place has a little of everything and like many other boards what ever problem with the bike you have it has already happened to someone else and usually a fix posted

UNLESS

You post stories about riding an over rated and under powered Honda

thanks guys!

I'm actually kinda shopping around for a bike for my wife too... She liked riding the 250, but is way too intimidated by the ZRX. Had been looking at SV 650's, but a 599 is a good lookin bike too. Whatever it ends up being, we do know that it's going to be NAKED

Welcome Rueben...I think Kawi has one of the best lineups of new bikes right now. Since you are a Kawi nut, how about a Versys for the wife?

Welcome. Go with the SV650. 599's are hard to come by and, I'm sure, even harder to sell if you decide to move on.

ZRX looks sweet. I've really been thinking about a Ninja 250 lately, too. I want one with f-ed up bodywork that I can buy cheap and make nekkid!

Seeing as many smaller cc bikes like the Ninja 250 are beginner bikes I assume that would be relatively easy to find, its just a matter of it they are giving it away or think it is worth 10X googleit's new piece of gold

She's being kinda picky about the looks (you know, being a girl about it ) Plus I think the Versys is a bit too tall for her. I'd love to have a Versys in the garage though! She REALLY wants a Ducati monster - so I'm keeping an eye out for those as well.

Thanks for the info on the 599, I'll keep that in mind!

Gladius is aimed at female market. SV650 in slightly girlish garb. Check it out.

Versys probably is too tall for her. I sat on one before I bought the 919. When I went to push the bike around a bit, just to feel the balance/weight of it, the pegs kept hitting me in the calf and shin. Don't know what was up with the position of those things, but just seemed all wrong to me. Maybe I was having a brain fart. Who knows?
