Hangin' to the left today. Being married doesn't make it any less lonely down there.

Murph, my piss cat seemed to stop pissing. Not cause she's dead but she finally got a taste for outside and I guess she runs out of all her pee out there now and doesn't have to bag it into the crib and 'display' it for me.

Lots of time to shoot, lots of ammo and guns for me and the kiddies, but no tengo dinero para gas. Work is slow and hard to find side jobs right now. Tried to grow some vegetables but used the wrong soil base and burned them all up acidic wise. I tried to blame the old lady for tainting my judgment, but that didn't fly. Oh well. Still got my 10R and my KLR .....67,000 miles betwixed them.
If it wasn't for RC90 sending me my daily dose of naked girls stuff, I don't think I'd have much reason to modulate out of bed in the mornin'.

And the Supreme Court comes through for us, and all of AMERICA, it is just ashamed that it took a ruling to justify the 2nd amendment and what it was intended for.

GOD Bless America!

I think I will go through about 400 round tomorrow just cause I CAN!

Not really on that supreme court deal, FMT. It was 5 to 4. That means FOUR JUSTICES don't believe that the 2nd amendment applies to you, me and our neighbors. I wouldn't stop buying gats and gat food quite yet (well, I don't have a pot to piss in so I'm only window shopping)

Speaking of shooting stuff, I picked up a 357 Sig barrel for my Glock Model 22. This switches from 40 S&W to the 357 Sig round. Wow! What a snappy little thunder stick! Cost me $134 delivered for the barrel. Very nice stainless steel....perfect fit and lockup. But damn if the gun bit my finger that day when the slide slammed shut on it. I bled all over the fookin' place at the range and it put the kybosh on the rest of the afternoon Next, I'll pick up the 9mm barrel plus a handfull of 9mm magazines. That's for "cheap" shootin' fun.

That sucks. Don't be too embarrassed, my buddy and I were plinking with his sweet little Taurus model 66 7 round .357. He had a can of old ammo someone had given him and his dad talked him into shooting some questionable .38's. Well, a "pop and no kick" later the gun was useless. Once we got back, a few solid whacks with a dowel and mallet restored the gun to a more useful condition, but lesson learned none the less.

Been there, done that. Sucks alright. Ha, same thing to boot.....38 special loaded about 60 years ago it looked like. Oh, I bet the ammo was lead, no jacket. Thing about that lead bullet reloading is the lube in the grooves of the bullet. If the ammo is stored with the bullet up, on hot hot days, the lube melts and dribbles into the powder and primer fouling it. That's where you get misfires or primer only fires. You won't see this activity in jacketed bullets cause they need no lube,

I agree about the split in the Supreme Court, and as for the Glock biting, I was riding with a buddy and I spotted a Coyote about 80-100 yards off the road, I said "man you gotta gun?" He hands me his Glock 9mm and I rolled down the window then a car comes along, I said to him tell me when it is clear to shoot (Shooting from a road onto land not being yours can get the law on you hard) He said clear, I shoot and missed that coyote by not more than 6 inches, but the dang slide got me good, I was bleeding all over his truck.

Oh well it was good Redneck fun down here on the Redneck Riviera!

I was worried about you, too! I was worried you wouldn't pick up an AR15 for some doo doo reason or another. I hope you are packing one these days.

Perhaps it's not my place. But (I) wouldn't pick up an AR-15 just for some doo-doo reason.

Now if certain extremists felt it necessary to become engaged in guerilla warfare on THIS turf ? I'd have NO problem picking up two. But that's me.

Extremism exists, but it's not where you think it is. Anyway, they are fine guns in their present incarnations and I know rev had his sights set on one.

PS: I got me two young men (10 and 12) and both concur that AR15's are a hoot. If only I could get them to 'hoot' while field stripping and cleaning them after a fun outing.

Don't have an AR15 yet, but I did pick up a S&W M&P 15-22 for my son and me to plink with. Also got a Sig P250 9mm. There is a post on here somewhere from when I got that one.

Still looking for a good deal on an AR15. The guy that I had worked a deal with a couple of months ago backed out on me last minute.

Dude, can't complain too much with a pot to piss in.

I've enjoyed many skinny tire cycling adventures, as a bonus cyclocross dirt trail spurs! There's nothing like riding in the redwood canopy.

Going 2up on the "Scooter" to Monterey, time to change the oil.
