Hello from Tennessee

Hi all! I'm new to this forum and searching for 919 info. I ride a Speed Triple, but my friend has just bought a new to her 2007 919. Really nice bike! She's looking for some accessory options. Particularly frame sliders (which are best) and pegs (just pegs for now...rearsets maybe later). Do accessories for any of the other Honda models fit without modification? Thanks!

Welcome to the site.

There are good sliders out there, but the key is mounting them in the appropriate location.

Check out http://www.wristtwisters.com/f94/hel...ners-1209.html. It has tons of good information.

Now, my personal preference are the Givi Crash Bars. I feel like they offer TONS more protection than the sliders will.

Welcome to the place. I like your state. Nice roads, especially the eastern part.

Glad you found your way here in spite of the 919.org website leading you astray

I'll fix that link soon.

Welcome aboard, lightnin4! This is the place for 919 information, but it doesn't matter what you ride as long as you ride! Stay safe.

Where did that leg humper smile go?

Sporty and Nemo used to hang out a lot, but I haven't seen them in a while.

Unfortunately we're in West Tennessee. We have a few good roads...separated by many flat, straight ones!

About pegs...she really likes these, but can't find any listed for the 919. Does anyone know if these would fit?

Those gold pegs look sweet, I'd imagine alot of those are gonna be a universal fit. Be warned though I messed with my pegs a little and got some serious vibe issues out of em, real bad. I'd personaly leave the pegs alone until you go for the gusto and get rearsets.

(off to hump something)

You don't have to leave just because you sold your 919.
