Another new guy

Hello, I recently bought a 2006 Honda 919, and I was directed here by some friends over on Grassroots Motorsports. I've only put about 500 miles on my bike since I got it last Saturday, but honestly, I'm in love.

You race that Miata, too? I autox'd a few Hondas and a Miata. I have an '05 MCS, but haven't done anything with it.
What are the first two cars? Alfa Romeo?

I autocrossed the Miata a few times but nothing serious. It's a daily driver. Yep the older cars are Alfas.

Yes, the bike came with the stockers also, but those will be staying on the shelf.

BTW, I'm starting to "get it" as to the exhaust smell people complain about. It is not a powerful odor, but it does remind me of the (rich) exhaust on my old Italian cars. Not a smell I like, unfortunately. I'll switch to 87 octane and see if that helps at all.

It will, a bit. But the stink will still be there. Switching to a 900RR setup is about the foolproof and permanent solution.
