That's right folks, the relay ride is about to begin! The monkey has been assisting me all morning with tasks ranging from tracking down the morning after pill, to pissing in my gas tank. Why the hell he thinks I need the morning after pill is beyond me, and I certainly don't need piss in my tank.
I'm still working out where I'll be staying tonight, who I'll be meeting up with (from outside of the forums) and trying to make sure I haven't forgotten anything that I may need for this little adventure.

Monkey was handed off around noon today. Lucille can freaking ride and has great skills on the bike! I thought for sure she would have posted up the hand-off by now, but maybe I just missed it.

She really wants you to post up ALL of the pictures from yesterday, especially the ones of her.
I think you look good. Way better than Beef! As for a caption, hmmmm....... How about, Lucy takes beefs monkey in her hand? Kind of sounds dirty doesn't it?

Good one!
Just made it home. took I35 up, almost died 3 times. Took backroads/US281 home, almost died once. The good news is, I got a performance aware juuuust outside of Marble falls. 83mph in a 70mph. Oops!

I met up with a random guy at the south edge of Venus Rd this morning. He was looking to partner up with someone and ride. I told him my plans of taking 67W to 281S. He said "follow me, you'll have a lot more fun". Dude was on a busa, and could actually ride the damn thing. He was a very spirited rider, and I didn't feel comfortable trying to keep up (it was obvious he knew these roads.) If you're up for venturing further south of the stretch of venus rd we were on, theres decent roads out there. Go past the gas station and hook a right. Try to stay on 916 or 917. It's not hard to do as long as you follow the signs. That landed me about 20mi from Hico back on 67. I totally meant to stop and try a Dublin Dr Pepper (main reason I wanted to even visit Hico) so I'm kicking myself in the ass even more.
