Summer Swarm: Ronks, Pa 8/28/11

This Meet/Greet/& Eat is open to everyone and is not limited to 919 riders. We are meeting at Millers Smorgasbord on Sunday,August 28th, about 12:30 pm at the east end of the parking lot, tire kick for an hour or so, and then have lunch inside at 1:30 pm. Chime in to RSVP so we can get a head count and call in a reservation.

Rain sucks! Unfortunately I'm out for the rest of this month.

I work that day, but if it gets rained out again I have off the following two weekends.

Ten days out and the weather looks "interesting" for the 28th at Ronks: 40% chance of scattered showers. It's a little down the road, so we shall keep an eye on the forecast. If we have to, I will post a rain date.

It looks like we will be getting hit pretty hard this weekend because of Irene. Right now they are showing 70% chance of t-storms.

I think that Irene has put a damper on this event. At the rate we are going, it will be a Fall Swarm. Labor Day weekend is out and I hesitate to make it on 9/11 for obvious reasons. Looks like September 25th will be the day. I shall post a new thread.
