So has Declan's misadventure with giant road debris brought the monkey's journey to a temporary halt?

Perhaps I will console myself by think of him (the monkey, not The Shadow) as hibernating this winter.

Declan, I hope that worthless monkey will be helping you with your Oldwing and 919 projects this winter!

I can agree with that. I think we missed the best chance we had of getting it up to Idaho. Maybe in the Spring.

If Green Hornet's interruption hasn't derailed us, then my unexpected dismount surely did.

Yes, I'm afraid that my calamity has put me out of the running for the time being. If there is another rider who wants to take on the challenge this late in the season, then have at! Otherwise, I should be well mended by springtime...in fact, I may be able to make it the maiden voyage of my oldwing...

...I think I need a better name for that bike...Hmm. I think I may have to leave the 9er black and paint that bike green...because it's not ripe yet.

If this is a 919 only relay i will be dropping out since I no longer own a 919 but will gladly still do it on the FJR could easily do some serious miles if need be.

The monkey is still residing with me here in Colorado, the darn freeloader! I'm eagerly looking forward to being able to pass him along to whoever is next up!

Currently trying to convince a couple guys to pick up a 919. Find one in Colorado or convince them to pick up Cmurphy's in KY, and we'll be on our way ;-)
