Watching the weather channel this morning hope the weather cooperates for you all.

Hope & Declan made it into Omaha last night & left my place this morning.
It's looking like they might see some rain between here & there.

I am sure it will be on a TV somewhere! I just need to find a place where we have no worries with age. Bass is going to be my DD.

RedStar Tavern, Keagan's, and Gordon Biersch are the leading three places for hanging out that night.

The FZ1 won't be making an appearance this weekend since my girls are with me...

That being said, It was there in advance.

Took a nice afternoon stroll when I got off. This bike has never run as good as it's running right now...

I've been down there the last few days and the place is nice! Kate wants to practise riding on saturday so were loading the 2fiddy in the back of the truck, the yaks and fishing poles and make a day of it.

We fished off the pier sunday and cought a nice drum. Today we put our kayaks in just south of the pier and headed out a mile or so, then south 3 miles. We watched 20-30 dolphins swim by us, 3 pods of stingrays (15-20 in each) and some jellies. I got back and was going to throw the line in but a couple of guys told me the only thing cought from 10 am to 3pm was a shark. No fish bitin!

Saturday is going to be a BLAST!

Weather Gods are smiling on Micheals shindig. Temps in mid 70's with a 80% chance of no rain, water will be fun to play in as well.

D'oh!!

Is it Illinois or Indiana that has the road construction signs that say, "Hit a worker, $10,000 fine"

To me that just sounds like a challenge

So........... the back seat of the civic has the pots for crabs. I am talking with the local fisherman to try and get fresh catch. This may backfire on me.... but worst case, we send Luke out by the pier and have him catch them by hand....

I'd heard that about him, all I know is it's better to have lobsters on your piano...

Hope and I made it to Charleston WV tonight, we should be in VB tomorrow afternoon, breaking speed limits all along the way (hopefully not getting caught again...seriously glad that guy didn't see us a few miles before...)

Man, my butt is getting saddle sores! lol

Be careful in VA!!! Its a BAD state to speed in, especially with out of state license plates.

Seriously? Damn! I generally keep it to +10 to +15, but I think I'll make an adjustment while I'm in VA.

See you soon, Basspiece!

They are fibbing.... Never seen a trooper!

I say Speed away!

In truth, I don't think VA is any worse than NC.

My personal rules (and I have a clean record)
1) If riding in traffic above the speed limit, keep lane changes to a minimum.
2) If you find yourself all alone stay <10 over the speed limit.
3) If someone flies by... its not personal. Use the opportunity to kick up your speed a little while they sniff out the cops, don't try to catch them or prove your faster. Keep plenty of distance tho as it is often for two cops to sit together.

And remember, it is their job to catch you and your job not to get caught!
Don't get pissed when the cop is better at this game than you.

LOL

I bringing my big 100 liter ice chest. We'll put a couple of bags of ice in it and fill it with water and the little buggers will go dormant/sleep and not be all pissed off and pinchie. At least thats what the internet gods tell me!

But I'll bring my heavy leather gloves just in case.

Looks like the weather is gonna be OK

Do a weather search for zip code 23456 and that will give you the weather for that area.

There is a Bath House at the park so getting cleaned up is no problem.

As far as the start time...Mike will have to state that. I think after 12 noon???

ANYTIME you can show. Park opens early.
I will be down there probably by 1pm.
I figure food should be up and cooking no later than three.

Mike...Whats on the schedule for the Sunday ride?

Depending on how long everyone wants to ride, there's a good chance I could bring the FZ1 out. It won't be till after 12-1pm though but regardless, would really enjoy being able to ride with everyone.

Nobody ever seems to be doing any riding around here anymore So I haven't taken the FZ1 out much other then just general riding here and there.

I organized one ride earlier this year and took Jer out on the dirt bikes once too...Never here from anyone if they are riding or not

If you guys want to do a local ride sunday out to Pungo or Knots island, I'm in.

Hell I haven't ridden much all season, it would be good to get out for a spin.

Making dream homes come true! Virginia Beach Remodeling

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat

I am game for making that plan tomorrow. When everyone is together and we know their schedules.

I can do whenever... but I do not have to ride home. I am not sure who is up for a ride or when yet.

Declan and Hope looked a little beat yesterday at dinner... I can only imagine some others might be fatigued as well.
