We haven't talked routes yet. You want to meet us part way out. I was thinking the way we went last year on the ferries. Just let us know where you want to meet and we can plan from there.
Google says 9 hours , so if I do half today - half tommorow I could meet you in ; Vernon , Kelowna , Kamloops , Sicamous , Revelstoke ...
" it takes 14 hrs. for his phone to receive it." Yeah - sometimes

I'd Rather Be Riding ....
We had a beautiful week-end, sunshine, 30-35C, awesome
roads. Our trip started out in Calgary saturday morning, Rickard,
R1 molestor and me left around 8 and headed west. We got
stuck in a construction zone, 45 mins at 10 km/h. Then Rickard
ran out of gas, 4 km's later R1 ran out of gas and then I ran out
of gas in the gas-station's driveway.
Later we met with Z1-Jockey, had supper and went a little bit further
before stopping for the night.
Sunday morning was the best part of the trip, hwy 6 is one of the
best road I've ever been on with the bike. Twisties, very little traffic,
ferries, forest and nice pavement. I recommend Hwy 6 to everybody.
Sounds like you guys had a blast.
Gotta laugh at the dry gas tanks.
T81 gets the prize for stalling dry at the gas station driveway. I had that happen once before, on my Norton - wow, that was a long time ago, 1973 to be exact.
Hwy 6 is a must ride again road. The dry gas tanks sucked. Literally. Good thing I had that syphon hose in my bag of tricks.
I didn't get too many pictures this trip, but here they are:
Figured I may as well take a picture while I wait for gas. 103_0167.jpg

Couple of shots of molestR1. Great name we came up with for him. 103_0169.jpg 103_0170.jpg

This is a shot of molesteR1, in the background you can see Z1-Jockey coming. 103_0172.jpg

These next two are of Mr.T81 on the same strech of road. Directly behind where I am standing is a 20 deep ravine with a few trees, lots of rocks and a river. No guard rails here folks. some places on this road there is no shoulder, 12" of gravel, then ravine or trees. Amazing. If you ride this road and don't scare yourself at least once, you aren't riding hard enough.
