You know what I mean, lets get this figured out and make some plans. I'd really like to schedule a group ride and on to the Bikes on the Circle event for the same day.
Hey guys! I'm still happy to host a get together at my tavern on Friday and/or Saturday night, then head uptown to the Bikes on Meridian event. I've not got any info on the Red Bull kickoff Media Day event but will post it up as soon as I know something.
If you want a free place to stay, my couch is available...

Ok, final plans for our get together will be for Saturday evening, 5:30-7:30, at The Stadium Tavern, 802 S. West St, corner of West and McCarty Streets. That will allow a full day at the track Saturday afternoon, followed by bikes and beers at the tavern, then we'll head uptown to check out Bikes on Meridian.
My father-in-law Mark and I will be hosting a multi-forum cookout at his house Friday night. It is byob but we will be providing everything else (donations welcome). We plan on smoking some ribs and stuff so should be fun! We will start congregating after practice gets out on Friday so figure around 4:30-5pm. His address is 8907 Ash Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46234. Please RSVP by PM so we know how much meat he needs to smoke LOL.

Thanks Scott for hosting a meet up at your tavern. That is a fun little place. I may have to come up some time this winter just to talk about bikes when we can't ride.

Thanks Darren, good to see you as always. You're welcome any time, just let me know when you want to come to the big city!
Had a great time at the Indy GP this weekend. Special thanks to Shaughnessy and his family for putting me up and feeding me the whole weekend.
It was also great meeting a bunch of fellow WT'ers like Ripper, Hoosier919, Sbeau1960, BMiller and any others I may have forgotten. Being surrounded by like minded motorcycle freaks for a couple days made for a most memorable first time at Indianapolis.
Hope to come back and do it again next year. :001_smile:

Loved the weekend. Finally got on here to see what you guys are all about. Nothing like hangin around the track. Talking to a bunch of motorheads that love their bikes and all others in general. And it is really all about the riding.

Next year we take a day and head south! Much better roads than the incredibly poor timed traffic lights in Indy (my little indy gripe) and we'll get some good riding in!
Oh, and at the end of the trip we will eat at John's Famous Stew!!! MMMMMmmmm that was good!!!
Nice batch of photos. For any of you that have never been, make your plans for next year. And for heavens sake, ride your bike there! That's what it is all about! At the least trailer the thing! And next year the rides down through the back country sounds great.

Thanks. You are 100% correct on bringing your bike, that made the whole trip worth it. I can't imagine getting stuck in traffic in a cage.
You should post up some detail shots of your bike for everyone to see, the paint work and the trick parts are awesome.
